REUTERS: China's Chery buys Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi and Opel in one MEGA deal from German Government

German Chancellor Angela Merkel commented: "That's too great! We need to get out of the Auto Industry and the Banking Industry anyways and focus more on traditional products like Beer and Brezels.

According to well informed sources the total purchase price is 1 Trillion RMB or 100 Billion Euro plus free fireworks for the next 100 years.

The Chery spokesperson was not available for a comment but said in an email which was intercepted by AFG staff, that all manufacturing facilities will be transferred from Germany to China within the next 24 months. A couple of Germans are expected to support the initial transfer and setup but will be replaced by local staff as soon as possible.

Due to the common ownership and management a lot of savings are to be expected with a new common model and sales policy.

Also exciting new Chinese designs for the Ex-German car brands will be introduced at the Shanghai Motor Expo 2009 this month.

Highlight will be the first tractor from Porsche that will be used across the country's agricultural farms and will boost harvest efficiency by more than 50%.
